There’s a lot going on this week, but I wanted to provide a quick update on Entellium. The official word is a little different from the rumors — total layoff — circulating about it, but I still don’t have as much info as I’d like. (Thanks to Rich Bohn of Selling Power for the assist):
“[On] Tuesday, September 30, 2008, each of the Chief Executive Officer and the Sr. Vice President of Finance and Operations of Entellium Corporation resigned from their positions with the company. On October 3, 2008, the company implemented a restructuring that involved a reduction in force. The company cannot speak to the circumstances of the resignations or any other personnel issues.
“Although the company did have a reduction in force on Friday, Entellium has staff based in Seattle and Malaysia supporting all business functions to support its customers and products. I want to assure you that Entellium continues to support its customers and products, including 24 x 7 operations and hosting, help desk support, three levels of product support escalation and a hot fix team.
“We continue to support our EARN program advisors, and I am your new point of contact email@example.com.
“Solutions Engineering Manager”
CRM will continue to monitor the situation and report as we can. Like we don’t already have enough to do. :-)
