ERP, I understand , is becoming complex and also now lot of competition exists. I am with Oracle Peoplesoft from last 7 years and really liked the app. Lot of articles also on http://www.itwisesolutions.com/PsftTips.html website, which gives very nice articles.

Oh, by the way, I found this blog because I was looking into the "In the Key of ERP" site... Like I said, funny stuff, but all fictitious.

I work for a company that is currently implementing Epicor's Manufacturing ERP solution, but we did not purchase the CRM module (so I wouldn't be much help to you there).

No offense, but the book, the off-Broadway musical, the websites, are all just marketing funny business.

No such book, heck, no such author!
No such musical, so there is no such "documentary on the making of" for the fictional musical.

Funny stuff & a neat marketing direction though.

Don't feel so bad about this Josh! :-). I've dealt a little with Epicor and they really fancy themselves as an ERP vendor who just happens to have a CRM application - they told me almost literally that when I spoke to them about a year ago. They don't really have a CRM focus which is why you probably didn't cover them. Their CRM product is pretty good though I've never seen it as beyond that - and haven't invested the time to find that out. But they make no bones about being an ERP company - up to and including that incredible Off Broadway music "In the Key of ERP." Something I know I'm just going to grab Orchestra tickets for as soon as "In the Heights" closes.

BTW, their ERP products are really very very good.
